The Texan’s history is intertwined with DU-BRO itself, and its original builder—though unknown—was part of the company’s legacy. Because of that connection, Joshua approaches the restoration with a methodical balance of preservation and modernization. Historical elements, such as its “ugly muffler,” will be kept for authenticity, while structural and flight-critical parts will be upgraded.
